Kana Kanmani is from Akku Akbar -K Gireeshkumar team. It is indeed a daring attempt to deliver a strong message to the society. The movie and the director have definitely successful in projecting the theme as well as its message with a strong. Other than this, the movie does not offer anything to keep you glued to your seat.
The movie showcases Jayaram as Roy, a successful architect who enjoys his marital life happily with a Brahman girl, Maya, an interior designer. Their sweet routine in their cosy little apartment is immersed in short digs at each other religious beliefs and outings with their cute, brainy little daughter Anagha.
Roy plans to take his family for a foreign tour, after his proposal for a township gets approved. Meanwhile the little Anagha shows interest in an old bungalow which she had seen in some old photographs. These pictures belong to the old mansion where Jayaram and Maya would have started their marital life. And soon the three start off on a trip to this mansion, which has lots of unexpected surprises for them in store.
The theme conveys the message that every conceived foetus has the right to live. The director also presents the theme in a very interesting way. The dialogues by K Gireeshkumar are quite ordinary;
The highlight of the movie is that there are not much preachy dialogues or hard hitting speeches.
